There’s still just over three months until Capcom Cup X where 48 of the best Street Fighter 6 players in the world will be competing for the $1 million grand prize.
Now that the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 has reached its pretty much midway point for Capcom Cup qualifiers, Cat Cammy put together an interesting chart to show how many character mains have already punched a ticket to the finals.
Unsurprisingly, there’s a few notable standouts in the crowd though one in particular is technically higher than the rest.
Luke already has a whopping five players in Capcom Cup though Cat Cammy counted MikeX’s secondary pick of him in the ranks too, so if you want to look at just the mains, he would be down at four (and Juri down to one).
Ken and Dee Jay also have four mains in contention with two for the Jamaican pop star coming just this past weekend through World Warrior finals in BST|Fuudo and SL|Xian.
Fun fact, the Singapore legend has qualified for every Capcom Cup (that wasn’t canceled) going all the way back to 2013 except the last for Street Fighter 5 earlier this year where Xian didn’t make it through the last chance qualifier.
The only other duplicates we have now waiting in the ranks for Capcom Cup X now are JP at three and Chun-Li at two.
And then the remaining singular picks so far are Guile with Bandits|Caba, Dhalsim for Garnet, Zangief with Snake Eyez of course and NASR|Big Bird for his Marisa.
That still leaves almost half of the cast, however, without real representation in the finals, but again, we do only have half of the players now.

Ryu, Jamie, Manon, E. Honda, Blanka, Lily, Kimberly, A.K.I. and surprisingly Cammy are all still on the outside.
There are some really big contenders like Fly|Punk and Bandits|MenaRD still trying to punch their tickets through the remaining qualifiers, so there’s a decent chance the likes of Cammy and Blanka will still be there in the end.
We have 18 more World Warrior Finals spots up for grabs going down over the next month as well as more online premiers, so check out our breakdown of the results and what’s to come.
Capcom Cup X is scheduled to take place starting February 21, 2024 in Los Angeles, California where Street Fighter 6 will crown its first world champion.
