Street Fighter 6 art contest challenger screens and rewards coming in Terry Bogard's update shown in new trailer

The fighting game community is filled with so many talented artists around the world, and it’s cool to see them receive some official recognition for their works.

Capcom confirmed today that illustration contest winning challenger screens are also coming in Street Fighter 6’s big Terry Bogard update.

From the new challenger artwork campaign and following Street Voter event, 20 pieces of art were chosen among the wide-ranging catalogue of entrants to be added to SF6 proper.

Unlike most other challenger screens, all of these will be free for every SF6 player along with a title for everyone who voted on the finalists.

Moreover, those who correctly picked one of the top three pieces of art will get an additional title while the artists themselves should be handed exclusive titles as well.

As you may have noticed, there’s only 20 challenger screens, but SF6 has 23 characters ahead of Terry’s arrival — so a few characters are getting left out.

The fighters who aren’t going to have a contest screen are M. Bison, Dhalsim, E. Honda and surprisingly Luke.

Meanwhile Lily is actually receiving two pieces of art to pick from.

Capcom notes these can be acquired via the in-game news section once the update becomes available.

Story is developing…
