Street Fighter 5 crosses over with Elden Ring in this killer fan art depicting fearsome beauty R. Mika against a towering titan
That Elden Ring game is pretty popular. Not only has it been getting a lot of attention in general gaming circles, but even the fighting game community has taken it on as its combat system contains some techniques and traits that resembles the competitive play we’re used to.
Fighting games and Elden Ring seem to go hand-in-hand, and fan awareness of this is very real as we’ve seen not only clips from fighting game streamers in droves, but all manner of media marrying the two together. This wonderful fan art piece by Quasimodox is a perfect example of the latter as we see a fearsome and beautiful warrior in R. Mika ready to take on the towering titan and Street Fighter’s biggest combatant, Abigail, as he dons his Halloween costume from Street Fighter 5.
Street Fighter 5 has featured numerous holiday costumes over the years, including several batches of Halloween outfits. One such spooky getup belongs to Abigail, the Final Fight thug, who becomes a giant, terrifying cyclops when he wears it.
Such a look is perfect for a Street Fighter X Elden Ring crossover. FromSoftware’s action role-playing game is filled to the brim with massive creatures and entities that are extremely powerful and hit really damn hard, and that doubles as a good description of Abigail.
The hero in this artwork is none other than pro wrestler R. Mika, who goes heavier on the “warrior” part of world warrior here. She can be seen wearing a face guard and gloves that resemble what you’d find in Elden Ring, but also stays true to her character by rocking an outfit that is very much inspired by her leotard and leaves her butt hanging out — which is surprisingly one of her standout traits.
What Elden Ring cyclops Abigail doesn’t realize is that R. Mika’s behind is one of her most powerful weapons and much more formidable than that sword she’s holding.
Quasimodox really does a great job here not only getting the details on the characters right, but also making Abigail feel like a huge monster you’d come across in Elden Ring. Though it’s unlikely, it would be really cool to see an actual Street Fighter 5 crossover happen where you could take on some of the game’s fiercest opponents. I mean, we have seen Street Fighter in Monster Hunter before…
