Description:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Strategic Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation Manager will develop and implement governance processes and organisational performance monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, ensuring that strategic objectives and programmes are implemented and reported on. 

Key performance areas will include, but are not limited to:

  •  Strategic Planning.
  •  Development and implementation of governance processes and organisational performance monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
  •  Development, implementation, and evaluation of the Annual Performance Plan (APP).
  •  Monitoring and evaluation of the reporting cycle.
  •  Coordination and assessment of the performance information required for the Annual Report.
  •  Financial Management.
  •  People Management.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A relevant postgraduate business qualification (NQF Level 8) or equivalent tertiary qualification in monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Evidence of expertise in organisational governance and business management processes and planning.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation within a public entity or government institution is required.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Insight into the science and technology aspects of SANSA.
  • Ability to collect information, synthesize it, and report on it.
  • Good market and trend analysis skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
