Cometstar Manufacturing Co. Ltd is a member of Cometstar Group. It was incorporated on the 25th day of February, 2005. Cometstar Group was founded in 1983 in the name of Cometstar Elektrindo Limited by Chief James Uduji, the Group Chairman. Cometstar Elektrindo Limited was importing, selling, and distributing more than 600 electrical items including cables, overhead power transmission substation materials, switch boxes, and accessories.The Chairman conceptualized the diversification of Cometstar Group into manufacturing industry after the 2004 ISO convention in Buenos Aires, Argentina which he attended. He felt the need to contribute more meaningfully to the real sector of the Nigerian economy through manufacturing, hence the birth of Cometstar Manufacturing Co. Ltd in 2005.The ideal candidate must be honest, meticulous with great attention to detail, and have good organizational and numeracy skills.
Core Responsibilities:
Receive and check all deliveries
Update records regularly, and replenish supply inventories
Organize and deliver goods to the department that requires it
Ensure the safety and security of goods stored at the facility
Maintain a neat, clean and safe environment
Education and Qualification:
Minimum of O’Level certificate (WAEC, NECO) with a credit pass in English and Mathematics
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a goods facility
Basic IT skills and knowledge of inventory management systems and word-processing software
