Though the entire base roster for Tekken 8 has already been revealed, we were provided our first real spotlight on Steve Fox’s gameplay in Tekken 8 on Bandai Namco’s YouTube channel.
As his fighting style is boxing, Steve exclusively throws punches. While his reach might appear to be handicapped due to his lack of kick moves, he has plenty of advancing punches that get him in close against opponents.
Steve Fox made his debut in Tekken 4. Since then, Steve has returned for every mainline Tekken game so far.
His backstory is of a British boxer who was adopted at a young age. Since Steve’s debut, we’ve learned that he’s actually the biological son of Nina Williams, though his conception was carried out synthetically.
While discovering his past was everything to Steve, Nina doesn’t really acknowledge him. From this, Steve becomes unmotivated.
As a result, his friends, Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law, encourage him to enter a tournament with them. It was agreed that the three would split the prize money if any of them make it to the top.
Rather than training at the mountains with his friends, he instead chooses to seek out a new fighting style.
