Squid Game Season 2 has ended and it has been an absolute blast of a show. Not only did it end on a massive cliffhanger but also sets up a pretty interesting storyline for Squid Game Season 3. So far, we witnessed Gi-hun launch a rebellion with some of the other players. However, this rebellion did not go exactly as planned since one of the people in the rebellion was the Frontman himself who betrayed Gi-hun and got almost all of his team-mated killed. When Will Squid Game Season 3 Release?
Squid Game Season 3 has already been confirmed and will be released sometime in 2025. Even though we do not have a confirmed release date as of now, we can expect it to be released by the winter of 2025 same as Squid Game Seasons 1 and 2. What Will Be the Cast of Squid Game Season 3?
Squid Game Season 3 will feature almost the same cast since the games are not yet over and there is no further scope for new characters to come in. We will get to see Lee Jung-Jae come back as Gi-Hun since he was not killed by the Frontman. Other than that, we will get to see Lee Byung-hun return as the Frontman along with Kang No-eul played by Park Gyu-young. We will also get to see Park Sung-hoon return as Hyun-ju since she is pinned in the barracks and the probability is that she will survive. We will also get to see Wi Ha-Joon return as Jun-ho in Squid Game Season 3.
Squid Game executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk has confirmed that the fight between Frontman and Gi-Hun will continue to Season 3 in an emotional letter to fans. He has also confirmed that Squid Game Season 3 will be the finale of the series.
What Could Be the Plot of Squid Game Season 3?
Considering how many twists and turns the story of Squid Game takes, it is really difficult to say what could be the exact plot of season 3. However, we can make certain predictions. The story arc where Jun-ho and his team are looking for the island where the Squid Game is being held is still incomplete. We now also know that the captain of the boat Jun-ho is traveling in is a mole so that is an arc we still need answers to.
More than that we need to know what happens next to Gi-hun since the Frontman did not kill him on top of that, the games are not over yet so there is a chance that he will put Gi-hun back into the game.
