Speedkicks releases the first v1.04 tier list for Tekken 8 showing how one character in particular got obliterated by nerfs

The version 1.04 patch for Tekken 8 ended up being the biggest patch in terms of balance adjustments. As a result, tier lists are expected to look pretty different compared to how they did when the game was initially launched.

Speedkicks recently released the first tier list for Tekken 8 v1.04 which rates each character’s ability to win in a first-to-two or first-to-three format. Fighters have been divided up into the S tier, A+ tier, A tier, B tier, and C tier categories.

Jun Kazama is all by herself in the C tier group, indicating that she may be the worst combatant in the game now. This is quite a shame for Jun users as she was often talked about as being one of the best characters in the game when the game first launched.

According to Speedkicks, Jun’s poke game doesn’t function too well anymore with her health gimmick now being gutted with the recent update. Speedkicks has indicated that Jun is now the only truly bad character in Tekken 8, though Speedkicks is currently unsure of where to place Kuma and Panda at the moment.

The top tiers are said to be Feng, Reina, Alisa, and Nina. Former top tiers like Dragunov and King have simply been dropped down to the bottom of A+ tier. It’s also interesting to note that Zafina, a former low tier candidate, is now also in A+ tier.
