Team South Town has recently been released as DLC for King of Fighters 15 on most platforms. Billy Kane, Ryuji Yamazaki and Geese Howard are now all playable as a result.

To celebrate the occurrence, King of Fighters 15’s lead designer, Tomohiro Nakata, has released a special sketch of Geese Howard. Notably, Geese is looking very angry (or ready for battle), but still manages to look spiffy in that suit of his.

There’s certainly a tenseness that can be seen in both Geese’s face and right hand. Knowing the antagonist of Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury, one can easily imagine how someone is in imminent danger if they’re the one that’s on the receiving end of that expression.

In addition to this sketch, Nakata also shared a few words about Geese Howard’s return in King of Fighters 15. Most notably, Nakata took the time to explain why he’s seen wearing a suit.

“I think the fact that he is wearing a suit in KoF15 reinforces his role as the head of the Howard Connection,” said Nakata. “I had several ideas for the color of the suit, but black was the coolest and most suitable for Geese. After all, a black suit goes well evil incarnate!”

Of course, Nakata also takes the time to reassure fans that his classic look is also available. “You can choose to wear his iconic hakama (tradition Japanese male dress), so we hope you will try both options,” stated Nakata.
