We just learned about the likes of GT Goku, Baby Vegeta, Omega Shenron, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta and a handful of other newcomers to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero in Thursday’s GT trailer, but now it seems a slew of additional characters have leaked.
A video clip of a fleshed out character select began circulating very early Friday morning, showing nearly 30 currently unrevealed characters on the character select screen, some of which we get to see in-game models for. Likely Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero spoilers ahead.
Bandai Namco has been revealing the massive roster for the upcoming Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero via clever means as we see 10 or so newcomers in each of the saga trailers over the past few weeks. At the end of each trailer a giant, hexagonal mural fills further in with the faces of newly revealed characters, and this mural suggested a starting roster of 164 total fighters.
Only 10 spots remained after Thursday’s GT trailer, but Friday’s leak suggests an additional 26 characters are en route. With no official confirmation from developers, we can’t be necessarily certain as to whether or not any of these leaked fighters are going to be base roster or eventual DLC.
The footage was reportedly shared prematurely online by Japanese network Dengeki Online before being taken down. The video has been uploaded all over Twitter and YouTube, however.
Some of the character models looked noticeably unfinished, lacking certain textures or seeing glitchy transitions, so the footage very well might not be from a finished build of the game.
