Key Responsibilities
Assisting the Sourcing Co-ordinators in compiling the “new brief packs”
Co-ordination of outward and inward bound parcels
Recording the movements of all garments, swatches, artwork, colour submissions on the relevant (GIS) system Conveying garments to and from Departments for fit sessions
Ensuring the availability of garments for reviews/showing etc.
Constant liaison with vendors/buyers on day-to-day issues
Internal payment system activities/orders for local packaging
General administration
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification/s:
Minimum grade 12
Experience / Knowledge:
At least 2 to 3 years previous administration and clerical experience – ideally within a clothing retailer and/or importer
Computer literate (Excel,Word)
Competencies Ability to work under pressure
High energy levels and self-motivator
Attention to detail
Strong team orientation
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
