Tekken 8’s next DLC character is coming back from the grave to once again put a beating on anyone who dare stand in his way. Iconic fighter and worst father ever, Heihachi, is making a grand return despite being canonically dead.
At this point in time, Bandai Namco has not revealed when we’ll be seeing Heihachi officially added to the game, however, that hasn’t stopped fans from adding him to the roster anyway — by any means necessary… Brawlpro shared a Tekken 8 clip on Twitter this week in which an encounter with what can only be described as “we have Heihachi at home” Heihachi was made, and it was glorious.
The 20 second stream clip wastes no time in getting to the point. We see the versus screen as Brawlpro plays King and gets matched up with a Paul player.
However, much to the surprise of Brawlpro and all of us seeing this footage, Paul was indeed not who appeared in the ring. Instead, we see the discount, Halloween costume in a bag off the rack version of Heihachi as he rides his motorcycle and does a wheelie into frame.
The perfect shot comes when Paulhachi looks directly into the camera, poses, and smiles as if to fully embrace how hilarious he looks.
Obviously, what we’re seeing here is just a custom for Paul that Brawlpro’s opponent made, and some creative means were used to make him look as close to Heihachi as the character editor will allow. Paul’s costume that features his karate gi makes him an easy and great choice to make Heihachi here, and to get the villain’s trademark hair there seems to be a bald hairstyle combined with some accessories sticking out of his head to resemble his iconic hairdo.
According to Brawlpro, someone said in the stream chat that this was a Soulcalibur version of Heihachi, and not the guest version of him in Soulcalibur 2. One commenter on Twitter even pointed out that the player controlling Paulhachi opened up the match by performing two of the main moves that Paul actually shares with Heihachi to further sell the whole thing.

Heihachi Mishima will act as the third DLC character in Tekken 8’s first season of DLC. One more character will follow him in the Winter time, and both Lidia Sobieska and Eddy Gordo preceded him.
