Yusuf Dikeç is easily the biggest meme to come out of the 2024 Summer Olympics thus far. The Turkish sharpshooter has been turning heads left and right after shooting his way to a silver medal in the 10 mm air pistol competition without using any of the elaborate gear that has become commonplace in the sport.
Dikeç has been Photoshopped next to James Bond, Pulp Fiction’s Jules and Vincent, John Wick, Agent 47, and plenty of other notable gunmen from popular culture, and now the 51 year old finds himself in Tekken 8.
Next to so many other competitors decked out with special gear to help reduce glare, focus on the target, and drown out noise, Dikeç’s bare bones approach instantly grabs attention even from those unfamiliar with the sport:

Victor Chevalier is a brand new face in the Tekken franchise who made his debut with the release of Tekken 8 earlier this year, and players were quick to realize how perfect a fit the two silver-haired gunman are for one another.
Dikeç isn’t the only meme-worthy competitor in Olympic shooting right now, however, as South Korean Kim Ye-ji has paired skill with style to become one of the Internet’s new beloveds as well. She also took home a silver medal in the 10 mm air pistol competition, but would go on to break the world record in the women’s 25m pistol.

Thanks to Tekken 8’s extensive customization options users were able to map an obvious take of Dikeç onto Victor and Ye-ji onto the pistol-wielding Nina Williams. The results are absolutely stellar:
