In a groundbreaking development and in firm support and display of solidarity for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s transformation initiative, the Anambra South Soludo Ambassadors has organized a mega rally to unanimously declared their unwavering support and commitment to Governor Soludo’s led APGA government in the State.
The event which was well attended by high profile Nnewi political jugganuts, Soludo Ambassadors from the seven local government areas of Anambra South, which comprises of members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Labour Party, the Young Progressive Party (YPP) and a host of other political parties was held held at Nkwo Nnewi triangle with the theme; “soldering the solution agenda”.
In his address, the State Governor and Chairman of the Occasion, Prof, Chukwuma Soludo represented by his Chief Of Staff, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi applauded the organizers of the event and the Soludo Ambassadors for their resilience and dedication in promoting the good works of Governor Soludo.
While highlighting the landmark achievements of his administration in various sector of the State, he emphasized his government commitment in totally transforming the entire Anambra State to the expected standard noting that with the 2024 Appropriation bill of the Governor which is tagged “changing gear”, Ndi Anambra are about to witness the best of the Soludo administration, having achieved an all-encompassing developmental strides in nearly two years in office.

He pointed out that the governor has performed exceptional well in three major areas which includes security, infrastructural developments and cleanliness of the State, which according to him are the primary focus of the state of emergency, the Governor Soludo declared on assumption of office.
Governor Soludo who stated that the testimonies of his works and commitments to the peace, growth and progress of Ndi Anambra is no longer hearsay but evidently seen went further to expressed gratitude, appreciating the people for the show of love and practical display of unwavering support urged them to continue supporting the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA-led government, assuring the crowd that more positive transformation will soon be witnessed in the entire State.
Also speaking, the National Leader and Convener of the Soludo Ambassadors and Managing Director of the Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr. Ossy Onuko stated that the major aim of the rally was to enlighten the good people of Anambra South Senatorial Zone of the good works of Governor Soludo and the need to continue supporting his administration, reminding them that Nnewi is an All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) land, as the Supreme Leader of the party, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was an Nnewi man.
Mr. Onuko pointed out that Governor Soludo’s has recorded an incomprehensible and unbeatable achievements in Anambra especially in Anambra South and Nnewi in particular, including the training and empowerment of five thousand youths with both skills and two billion naira seed money, the employment of thousands of teachers and health workers, ongoing construction of over four hundred kilometers of roads in the state, which some of them have been completed, ongoing roads in Nnewi including Bank road, the ongoing Ekwulobia Flyover, Provision of free antenatal and delivery package for pregnant women, and free basic education for pupils in primary and junior secondary in public schools among others.
He further hinted on the Governor’s plan to initiate three new cities in Anambra, which includes Awka 2.0, Nnewi 2.0. and Onitsha 2.0, and added that the government is also currently reviving the urban water schemes in the State and with the completion of the ongoing Solution Fun City In the Awka Capital City, the whole world will be amazed upon visiting the State Capital Territory. He urge the people to continue supporting Governor Soludo to commit more to the welfare, growth, transformative development, and general economic wellbeing of the entire State.
Meanwhile, The National Coordinator of Soludo Ambassadors, Chief Kenneth Nwachukwu and the APGA State Chairman, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye represented by the Nnewi North APGA Chairman, Hon. Tony Muodielu while paying resounding tributes to Governor Soludo’s developmental strides stated that beyond road infrastructure, the Governor’s vision also extended into diverse realms, as exemplified by the free distribution of a staggering 1.1 million coconut and palm seedlings —a strategic move towards the palm revolution and sustainable agricultural development in the State. They asked residents of the state to keep supporting the Soludo administration for continuous development of Anambra State into a livable and prosperous homeland
Contributing, the Anambra State Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Commerce, Hon. Christian Udechukwu who is also an illustrious son of the industrial city commended the group for their determination and tremendous display of unwavering support, noting that Anambra is blessed with a good leader in the person of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo. He urged the people of Nnewi to continue to throw their weight of support to the present administration to continue to enjoy the benefits of good governance.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Anambra South Zonal Coordinator of Soludo Ambassadors, Hon. Nnamso Nwafororizu stated that Governor’s second tenure was non negotiable, recalling that Anambra Central Senatorial District and Anambra North Senatorial District has both had their two tenures in the State Government Leadership.
He emphasized the need for Anambra South to have her own fair turn in full without interruptions.
Inauguration of the Anambra South Soludo Ambassadors Patrons, special procession by various local government of the Soludo Ambassadors groups in attendance, performance by the Umunze Mkpokiti group, different masquerade displays, including the special appearance of the popular Ajofia Nnewi among others climaxed the event.
