Well, well, well! The Richie-Grainge clan is about to welcome a new member. Sofia Richie has confirmed that she’s pregnant with her first child with Elliot Grainge. She spilled the beans to Vogue on Jan. 25, even showing off her baby bump.
Sofia’s been on a steep learning curve these past six months. “I’ve learned more in the past six months than I have in my entire life,” she confessed. She’s been fascinated by the capabilities of the female body.
Every week brings something new for her. It could be hormonal changes or physical expansion. “There’s just so much our bodies go through, and it’s so interesting to experience it all,” she mused.
Oh, and did we mention? It’s a girl! Sofia couldn’t help but share that tidbit. “She’s growing pretty fast,” she said. The due date, though, is still a bit of a mystery.
This baby news comes nine months post Sofia and Elliot’s lavish wedding. They said their vows in a star-studded ceremony in the South of France. Among the guests were her dad, Lionel Richie, and sister, Nicole Richie.
Since tying the knot, the couple has been soaking up marital bliss. Sofia couldn’t be happier. “Being married is the best,” she gushed in a July 2023 video for Vogue. She’s head over heels for Elliot. “I’m obsessed with Elliot. When we’re together, it’s just calm and quiet,” she added.
