This weekend sees Slashback 2023 taking place in NorCal, more specifically in San José, California, U.S.A.
Notable players participating include M&I|TempestNYC, ONI|NBNHMR, CLG|ApologyMan, Moist|Hotashi, ESFC|Mario, Foo, GCYoshi13, CATPION|Daymendou, PAR|Aarondamac, Betadood, Shuaboo, BC|Jonathan Tene, Stealthy, TheArm, Dave O, BNP|Knotts, Ruric, 2GB Combo, Psykotik|CapnSugar, Mongee Sr., GardeninTool and more.
With almost 500 attendees, it’s definitely going to be a loaded weekend full of explosive fighting game action and the game sitting at the top for this event is Guilty Gear Strive at just about 180 entrants.
Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 follows just short of 100 players with Under Night In-Birth EXE: Late[cl-r] landing over 80 registrations and Granblue Fantasy Versus sitting at over 70 competitors with Melty Blood Type: Lumina reaching the same number.
Yet another title in Arc System Works’ flagship fighting franchise, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R is also being played at the event and reached just over 60 players with Blazblue: Central Fiction following slightly behind, but also over 60 participants. Finally, there will be DNF Duel as well with around 45 entrants.
