The transfer window is in full swing at Old Trafford.
News and rumours are emerging left, right and centre on an instant daily basis.
Whether that’s to do with incomings or outgoings, Man Utd are seemingly very active early in the window.
This is a vastly different approach to previous seasons.
Previously, the regime would wait as long as possible before deciding who was coming and who was going.
That no longer seems the case.
News has emerged recently that Aaron Wan-Bissaka is gaining interest from clubs. Not only are Serie A giants AC Milan keen on him, but English Premier League side West Ham United have identified Wan-Bissaka for their right-back position.
If Wan-Bissaka were to leave, as is rumoured, then they’d need someone else to come in.
Although Diogo Dalot is the undisputed number one in that position currently, an injury or suspension could damage the club in that area of the pitch.
We all saw what happened to the balance of the team last season when Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia were unavailable for the majority of the season.
Sky Sport Germany are now reporting that United have identified an option for that defensive position.
Florian Plettenberg reports that United are exploring a deal to sign Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui.
Plettenberg is reporting that concrete talks have taken place.
Along with United, the German reporters claims that West Ham are also in the mix.
That would suggest that The Hammers are looking at alternate options to Wan-Bissaka also.
It is believed that the Bundesliga side are after between €20m-€25m. However, a more realistic fee is believed to be between €15m-€20m.
That means that United could bag a potential bargain.
Noussair Mazraoui has had a fairly mixed time since he joined Bayern and it seems as if his time in Munich is now over. And it looks like his next move is seemingly to England.
