It took Arc System Works over 3 months to show off the second DLC character flying into Guilty Gear Strive Season 2, but now we know Sin Kiske is coming later this week.

The developers have released Sin’s official starter guide video, which breaks down the fighter’s new stamina system, special moves and mechanics.

Sin still has access to his Beak Driver, Hawk Baker and Elk Hunt attacks from Guilty Gear Xrd, but they work a bit differently in Strive.

All of these specials plus the new overhead Hoof Stomp can all be followed up with an additional attack by inputting the same button again, or he can use Gazelle Step to quickly dash forward out of them.

Instead of hunger, the son of Ky and Dizzy now comes packing a stamina gauge that drains one of its 3 stocks after any special follow-up or Gazelle Step. The gauge will quickly refill when not in use.

Sin can still use his Still Growing move to eat meat although ArcSys won’t tell fans what kind of buff it gives him.

That does it for his special moves, so that means Bull Bash, Leap and Vulture Seize have bit the dust in the new game.

Sin’s first Overdrive is once again R.T.L, which can change directions 2 times after activation, and he can perform a follow-up attack that drains his remaining Tension gauge.

Tyrant Barrel is a brand new Super although you may recognize it from Sin’s other father figure in Sol Badguy. It too can be powered up with a follow-up when timed correctly.

It appears follow-ups and tricky dash cancels are going to be the name of Sin’s game in Strive, and we’ll be getting our hands on him in just a few days once he releases on November 24, 2022.
