Yesterday’s major Street Fighter 6 reveal gave us not one, not two, but three character trailers. All three were fairly stellar, but one of them was brand spankin’ new: Lily.
The latest representative from the Thunderfoot tribe has most definitely learned a thing or two from the previous Thunderfoot character, T. Hawk, but puts a very unique and spirited spin on some very familiar maneuvers. Rooflemonger gives us the side by side visuals in his latest video.
We’re not exactly sure what to make of Lily thus far, as she seems to be something of a jack of all trades. Her normal reach appears to be fairly far as she uses her clubs to whack opponents with, but can also turn her own body into a torpedo with Hawk’s Condor Dive, Condor Spire, and Tomahawk Buster specials.
Lily has a unique take on these three moves, however, as her unique Condor Wind technique grants her a Windclad stock, which powers up the aforementioned special moves.
We’re not sure exactly how these attacks get enhanced via Windclad stocks, but this kind of stock a power up mini-game is fairly common among the starting roster of Street Fighter 6.
Watch as Rooflemonger takes us through both her special and normal attacks (oh, she has a command grab as well, by the way) and compares them with T. Hawk’s similar movements. Let us know what you think of Lily thus far in the comments after you’re done watching.
