Job Advert Summary
The purpose of the position is the total management and control of the processing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the shift, to ensure that all quality standards are met and that KPI’s are adhered to.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- At least 5 to 10 years relevant management and processing experience
- Qualified poultry meat inspector (PMI) and poultry meat examiner (PME).
- A management course / qualification, such as MDP/ FMP will be to the advantage of such a candidate.
- Excellent administration skills
- Computer literacy in Excel and Word
Duties and Responsibilities
- Total management and control of the processing department.
- Establishing of general sound working relationship
- Ensure quality of slaughtered product
- General housekeeping
- Managing of Key Result Area’s and – Indicators
- Enforce good manufacturing process standards (GMP)
- Human resources management including managing discipline at the workplace
- Work and form part of the Mafikeng Production Management Team
- Maintaining HACCP documentation
- Applying of HACCP and ISO2200 principles
- Compiling of reports
