Tremor is the new Kameo that’s usable in Mortal Kombat 1. As such, the community has been exploring the capabilities of Kameo Tremor to see where he’ll end up in the current meta.
One unique thing about Tremor is that there’s a way to turn any of his assists into an ambush assist, though this will require an entire Kameo gauge to pull off. Considering that Tremor is capable of using lows and overheads, the community has already discovered some particularly nasty setups.
Jaycob Harvath on Twitter has showcased an interesting clip of Shang Tsung technically performing a touch of death sequence against Kung Lao. I say it’s technically a touch of death since the reset can be blocked, but this is extremely difficult to do for a human.
By himself, Shang Tsung is able to perform a combo that deals around 370 damage. At the cost of two bars of meter, this combo ends with Shang Tsung transforming into Kung Lao.
Following this, Tremor is called in as an ambush assist to perform Aftershock Tremor’s Ground Pound, a low attack. This is used in conjunction with a transformed Shang Tsung using Kung Lao’s overhead.
Though this entire sequence costs three bars of meter, the entire Kameo Gauge, and a Fatal Blow, it’s enough to deplete 1,050 life from Kung Lao (that’s paired with Sareena). Check it all out below:
