Role Overview
The Service Delivery Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of care services on behalf of Justintime Healthcare. This position involves recruiting, managing, and deploying social workers to various care homes and other service settings. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations, ensuring client satisfaction, and optimizing resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified social workers.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to select suitable candidates.
- Onboard new social workers, providing necessary training and orientation.
- Supervise and manage the performance of social workers, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance staff skills.
- Address performance issues and disciplinary matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate the deployment of social workers to care homes and other service settings based on client needs and availability.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by social workers.
- Resolve any issues or complaints related to service delivery in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific requirements and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient and cost-effective service delivery.
- Manage budgets and expenditures related to service delivery.
- Assistance with rota management, complaints, concerns, and incidents.
- Reviewing daily notes and assisting with preparing care plans and risk assessments.
- Ensuring daily audits and quality assurance are done.
- Assist with the referral system, particularly from the council.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a bachelor’s (BSc.) in biochemistry, microbiology, or any relevant field in medical sciences.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in social work or healthcare administration.
- Proven track record in recruitment, staff management, and service delivery.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the UK is a plus.
