Despite an impressive overhaul of the squad this summer, Manchester United are still not done with only a few days left of the transfer window.

The Red Devils have made impressive signings in Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, without giving in to extortionate transfer demands, with Manuel Ugarte currently in Manchester to complete his move.

Outward bound though, United have managed to part ways with a number of squad members who, for want of a better phrase, are surplus to requirement. Serial loanees Donny van de Beek and Hannibal Mejbri have been offloaded, with reserve stars Willy Kambwala, Facundo Pellistri and Alvaro Carreras also sold on. Not to mention the big name sales of Mason Greenwood and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, with academy graduates Will Fish and Maxi Oyedele also moving on.

Scott McTominay is also on is way out to Napoli, with his medical assessment being booked any day now, whilst United are still determined to sell Jadon Sancho.

Now, reports from Italy claim that Juventus are about to submit their first offer for Sancho after being interested in the winger since January.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio the Old Lady are looking to submit their first official offer for the England international in the coming hours.

The bid is reportedly for a loan deal with a request for United to continue paying some of Sancho’s salary which costs a total of £14.3 million a year.

It’s not sure how United are going to respond, with the Premier League club wanting a permanent move for Sancho rather than a temporary one.

United were looking to only agree if the loan offer had an obligation to buy, however this isn’t the preference of Juve.

The Old Lady are closing in on a sale of Frederico Chiesa to Liverpool, with the pair agreeing a four year contract according to Fabrizio Romano.

It’s been reported previously that Juve’s pursuit of Sancho hinges entirely on the sale of Chiesa, so this progress in Liverpool’s deal for the winger could be the catalyst for Juventus’ upcoming initial bid.
