His Holiness Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church will visit Canada early next month in honor of a parish anniversary.
The Serbian Orthodox Diocese of Canada reports:
We are delighted to inform you that His Holiness, Serbian Patriarch Mr. Porfirije, will visit the Diocese of Canada and participate in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Holy Trnity Serbian Orthodox Church and School. This significant event will be held on October 4 and 5, 2024.
We invite you to respond in large numbers and, in accordance with our tradition and spirit of unity, welcome His Holiness.
We have prepared a rich cultural and artistic program.
Your presence will contribute to making this event even more festive and significant. We look forward to your arrival and celebrating this important jubilee together.
The program includes a Doxology service on October 4 at 6:30 PM, and the Divine Liturgy the next morning at 9:00 AM, followed by the meeting of Pat. Porfirije.
That afternoon, there will be a cocktail reception, spiritual and artistic-cultural program and lunch, and an entertainment program with live music.
