Requirements:
Grade 12;
FAIS Accreditation (relevant qualification, RE5 & CoB – will be beneficial);
Previous work experience in underwriting or short-term insurance environment (will be beneficial);
Product knowledge / training with regard to short-term insurance.
Skills:
Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
Computer literate (MS Office);
Strong numeracy skills;
Good organizational ability;
Must be able to function under pressure;
Deadline driven and good planning ability;
Must be able to maintain confidentiality;
The ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.
Responsibilities:
Underwriting of short-term policies (new business, renewals and amendments);
Service and liaison with / for Insurers and Brokers;
Maintenance of insurance policies;
Maintaining and capturing data on necessary systems and database;
Preparation of necessary reports (new business, renewals and amendments);
Execution of administrative duties.
