Key Responsibilities
Develop policies and strategies for the Stakeholder Management and Advocacy for the NCC
- Strategically direct the development of strategies, policies and programmes for the NCC
- Direct research of best practices , impact assessments and benchmarks
- Direct the allocation of resources for programmes deliverables and monitor all aspects
Manage and monitor the Implementation of policies and strategies for the Stakeholder Management and Advocacy
- Manage the implementation of strategies, policies and programmes for the NCC
- Provide monitoring mechanisms for the implementation of programmes
- Monitor the implementation process
- Advise the Commissioner, and the CFO on the monitoring of donor funds
Oversee the building of capacity of external stakeholders
- Manage the mobilisation of stakeholders through media and community structures
- Consolidate annual programmes for stakeholder events
Establish relationships with Chapter 9 Institutions, Sector Regulators and Provinces through workshops/meetings.
- Oversee the programmes on workshops with chapter 9 institutions, Sector Regulations and Provinces of the Republic of South Africa
- Make strategic presentations that advocate for 9 institutions, Sector Regulations and Provinces of the Republic of South Africa consumer protection in the organs of state
- Compile progress reports on the state of readiness of Chapter 9 Institutions Sector Regulations and Provinces of the Republic of South Africa
- Review and evaluate the impact of the presentations/ workshops Sector Regulations and Provinces of the Republic of South Africa
Coordinate the liaison with international donor agencies
- Liaise with line managers on matters pertaining to donor funding
- Establish protocol to source funds
- Liaise with International Donor Agencies to source funds
Manage and promote the participation in the International Forums
- Promote integration with International Stakeholders through partnership programmes
- Coordinate the negotiations and conclusion of MOUs
- Manage the valuation of partnerships with international bodies to ensure working relationships
- Manage the database for all the stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- National Diploma /B Degree in Communication/Economics/ Law/ Public Administration/Public Relations and EB Driver’s Licence
- Minimum Experience : 6 years Managerial experience in Private or Public Sector in Stakeholder Management and Communications environment
