Brief Description
SBS invites applications for the position of Senior Lecturer
Requirements for Senior Lecturer level:
- A PhD in Information Systems
- Candidates with a bachelor’s degree with a major in Information Systems will be preferred
- Demonstrable experience in a research leadership role, including a track record of accredited publications
- Demonstrable experience in curriculum development, course administration, and substantial teaching experience at postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
Additional requirements for ALL levels:
- Candidates with extensive expertise and demonstrated experience in database design/management or proficiency in at least two of the other specified areas will be given preference.
- Having a demonstrated work history in a technology-related position will also be beneficial. Expectations of successful applicant:
- Actively participate in research and supervision of postgraduate students
- Design, teach and administer undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Engaged participation in the running of the Division through academic citizenship and administrative activities.
