Job Description:
As a Financial Analyst at Madison & Park, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting key financial decisions. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the financial health of the organization and contribute to its overall success.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis:
- Lead in-depth financial analysis, evaluating revenue, expenses, and budget variances to drive business performance.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to project future financial performance and guide strategic decision-making.
- Identify financial trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization, providing actionable insights to improve metrics.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor budget performance against actuals, delivering detailed reports and analysis to department heads and senior management.
- Collaborate with department leaders to provide guidance and ensure effective budget management.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the organization and guide decision-making.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support business objectives.
Cost Analysis:
- Conduct thorough cost analysis for projects and operational activities to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose strategies to enhance cost efficiency and control.
Client Billing and Revenue Recognition:
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of client billing, based on project milestones and deliverables.
- Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting,
- At least 4-5 year of experience in an accounting role
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a marketing advertising or procurement setting.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and strong organizational skills.
