When www.signalng.com exclusively broke the news of Akpabio ‘s Nicodemus visit to Nigeria’s No 1 political strategist and the jabagan of Lagos, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu at 2.00am few weeks ago, I didn’t doubt the news because I know of a fact that SignalNg is an online news platform solely owned and published by a strong and devoted PDP man with connection to everything PDP.
In short, the news that the botched Port Harcourt convention of the PDP will be cancelled was first broke by SignalNg, even when the convention was still being aired live on AIT TV.
For the SignalNg to report that Senator Akpabio couple of days ago had made a Nicodemus visit to Tinubu by 2.00am, and not just that, reported it as an exclusive news report, leaves us with no doubt, that the Ukana born politician had actually visited Tinubu.
Although his supporters would not agree, subsequent investigations have led credence to the story.
The question is, what was Akpabio’s secret mission in Tinubu’s house?
Remember! Tinubu pulled the trigger that killed PDP in Aso Rock and sent their offsprings scampering for safety.
The Big Question!
Could his mission has something to do with the current cracks in the Senate? That’s one side of the coin.
Could it be that he went to negotiate to jump the sinking the ship? That is another side of the coin.
Could it be that because EFCC almost finish looking at the various frauds perpetrated by him, and according to the grapevine, will soon activate mother of “all invitation”, that is why smart guy is playing smart? That’s the puzzle many will require an oracle to unravel.
