The Senator Representing Cross River State Southern Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong, has congratulated Comrade Archibong Bassey on her emergence as the first female chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Cross River State Council.
Senator Ekpenyong in a statement on Thursday 9 May, 2024, described Comrade Bassey’s election as a significant milestone that would foster gender inclusivity for the advancement of the journalism profession in the state.
