Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong Commends President Tinubu for continued implementation of Renewed Hope Agenda for N’Delta

The Senator representing Cross River Southern Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda for people in the Niger Delta region.

Senator Ekpenyong made the commendation at the commissioning of projects executed by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Bayelsa State, during the week.

“I rounded up a busy week of travels across the Niger Delta region with the commissioning of two projects in Bayelsa State. The first was the new multi purpose training center in Otuokpoti which was executed with funds recovered by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as well as the new Bayelsa State office of the NDDC in Yenagoa.

“The events were attended by dignitaries including the Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency Senator Douye Diri, EFCC Chairman, Mr. Olanipekun Olukoyede, the Minister of Regional Development, RT Hon Abubakar Momoh, and the board and management of the NDDC.

“In my remarks, I commended the President of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Tinubu for his continued implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda for the Niger Delta, as well as the Senate led by His Excellency Senator Godswill Akpabio, for always providing legislative backing for the Commission and its activities.”

Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong who is the Chairman of Senate Committee on NDDC, charged the board, management and staff of the Commission to continue to implement ingenious projects that would have direct impact on the lives of the people, pledging the support of both commitees of the National Assembly.
