The member representing Cross River North at the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen. Dr. Rose Okoji Oko recently embarked on a Free Medical Outreach to members of her constituents.
The free medical outreach is organised under the auspices of The Senatorial Outreach of Dr. Rose Okoji Oko, and spans Thursday 6 – Saturday 8 October 2016; medical services hold for a time frame of eight hours daily beginning from 10AM to 6PM.
Yesterday was the turn of Obudu and Obanlikwu LGAs to benefit from the medical outreach. Information reaching this press outfit has it that the Distinguished Senator donated various medical equipments to medical facilities domiciled in Obudu and Obanlikwu. Particularly, various equipments where donated to Sacred Heart Catholic Hospital, Obudu. Free medical services covering counseling, medical operations for Appendix, Hernia, Cataract, Glaucoma, free frames and eye glasses donation, testing and treatment for Malaria, Typhoid, free drugs donation, excision of malignant growth, etc constituted part of the features of the day. The people of Obudu and Obanlikwu may never have had it so good.

The recipients and people of Obudu and Obanlikwu were very jubilant and grateful to the organisers of the medical campaign as well as the Distinguished Senator. In fact, they demanded her phone number to be able to directly appreciate her.
