Sekou Kone is one of the glistening young stars Manchester United signed this summer for the club’s future.
Kone shone for Mali in last year’s Under-17s World Cup in Indonesia, helping the side finish third.
United were one of a host of teams to be interested in the young midfielder, which saw the Red Devils steal him from under the noses of RB Salzburg.
Earlier this month, the 18-year-old made his debut for the Under-21s side, taking on Sunderland.
Kone came on in the 71st minute for Finley McAllister, however, couldn’t prevent United from losing 5-2.
However, just over a week later, Kone suffered his first injury with United.

Sekou Kone to return from injury
After making his first start for the club against Huddersfield Town, the defensive midfielder was taken off in the 42nd minute, limping as he went.
A strong challenge from Huddersfield came in and floored the 18-year-old, requiring him to be substituted.
Now, Steven Railston has reported that Kone’s injury isn’t as serious as it first looked.
The report continued that he could return in a matter of weeks.
However, with the development very much at the forefront of United’s plans, the club will be sure to be careful with his recovery to ensure the problem isn’t made worse.
This comes as a new obstacle on top of the intensity of English football being very different to that of his former club, Guidars.
