The 52nd Roots Family Picnic, a beloved tradition that has brought together Seattle’s Black community for over half a century, will be held this Sunday, September 4. The event, which has been held annually, will mark its final year, with organizers inviting friends, family, and community members to gather one last time to honor the legacy and heritage of Seattle’s Black community.
