July 07, 2024 BRONX, New York – Two young boys were shot inside a Bronx McDonald’s after allegedly being targeted by a masked gunman Saturday evening, cops said.
According to police, a man wearing a surgical mask fired around ten shots inside of a fast food restaurant, striking a 12-year-old boy multiple times, including in his back and left leg.
A 13-year-old was also shot and suffered an injury to his left leg. First responders rushed the wounded pair to Jacobi Medical Center, where the two were last listed in stable condition.
The incident was reported at a McDonald’s restaurant around 9:50 p.m., near White Plains Road & Mace Avenue, in the Allerton section of the Bronx.
Detectives are working to determine a motive as it’s unclear how the suspect knows the boys but the perpetrator is described as a dark complected man, last seen wearing a black surgical mask and a black hoodie.
No arrests at this time, the NYPD is searching for the individual who shot two kids inside a Bronx McDonald’s before fleeing from the scene on foot
