A fresh report from The Telegraph now claims that the Saudi Pro League are planning something of a Premier League raid seeking to nab as many Premier League talent as possible.
According to the report, they’re particularly interested in Manchester United duo of Casemiro and captain Bruno Fernandes although the latter deal may be nigh on impossible to get done.
“According to sources up to 10 marquee signings are expected to be made this summer – with Cristiano Ronaldo’s club Al-Nassr, whose squad includes Aymeric Laporte and Sadio Mané, most strongly linked with Casemiro,”the report reads.
Casemiro has already been linked with a move away from United as centredevils already covered and according to this new report, his agents have had talks with different Saudi League teams to determine which one fits him best.
It is reported United will listen to offers preferring to sell him right at the start of the transfer window but they will not force Casemiro out.
The Telegraph cite more daring swoops in this reported Premier League raid with two of the best keepers in the world in Liverpool’s Alisson and Man City’s Ederson being mentioned.
There is already well documented interest in Mo Salah from The Saudi League and he was even subject to a failed £150 million bid last year from Al-Ittihad.
Casemiro has been enduring a very underwhelming season this by his loft standards and he could do well with an environment change and with United willing to listen to offers for the Brazilian, it will be interesting to see if he ends up in Saudi Arabia.
