Manchester United has been making waves this transfer window with some smart acquisitions, bringing in Joshua Zirkzee, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, and Noussair Mazraoui for a combined fee of around £140 million, excluding add-ons.

In today’s inflated market, that sum represents good value for the quality of players United has secured.

However, while the club has had a successful time in terms of incoming transfers, there are still concerns on the sales front.

Despite offloading players like Mason Greenwood, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek, and Willy Kambwala, only Greenwood and Wan-Bissaka fetched significant fees, going for £22 million and £14 million respectively.

With the club needing to fund further signings, the pressure is mounting to move more players.

Scott McTominay appears to be the next most likely departure, with several clubs expressing interest. United is reportedly seeking between £25-30 million for the midfielder.

Adding to the potential shakeup at Old Trafford, reports have emerged of a massive potential offer from a Saudi Arabian club for Marcus Rashford.

Saudi clubs interested in signing Marcus Rashford

According to a recent report from Fichajes, clubs in the Saudi Pro League are willing to pay as much as €100 million for the England international.

The report suggests that Manchester United could seriously consider accepting such a bid, given Rashford’s inconsistent performances last season and the financial boost this sale would provide.

The report states: “Marcus Rashford, one of Manchester United’s greatest stars, could be living his final days at Old Trafford.

“Despite having had a brilliant season in 22/23, his performances in the last campaign were not as consistent.

“This drop in form has generated speculation about a possible exit, especially given the interest of clubs in Saudi Arabia who would be willing to pay close to 100 million euros for his signing.

“Manchester United, aware of Rashford’s market value, could seriously consider the offer.

“This amount would allow the team to strengthen in other key areas and at the same time, give Rashford the opportunity to embark on a new adventure.”

While the financial allure of such a deal is clear, Rashford’s future remains uncertain.

The Englishman, now 26 years old and entering what should be the peak of his career, is eager to prove his worth under the new co-owners and continues to be viewed by the club as a symbol of United’s values.

Whether he opts for a lucrative move to the Middle East or stays to solidify his legacy at Old Trafford is yet to be seen.
