SAP Systems Analyst: HCM at Capitec Bank

Role Overview:

As a SAP Analyst specializing in payroll implementation, you will play a pivotal role in configuring, testing, and supporting SAP Payroll solutions throughout the full project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include managing payroll system configurations, navigating changes in legislation, and contributing to migration projects to ensure a seamless transition to new payroll systems.

Experience

5-7 years’ experience in SAP HCM Systems design, analysis, configuration and implementation
Ensure the stability, reliability, and comprehensive functionality of the Payroll and Time management systems.
Collaborate with the Payroll team to conduct SIT testing for tax updates, patches, bundles, and upgrades.
Offer operational support to end users in utilizing SAP EC Payroll, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Diagnose and resolve technical Payroll issues efficiently.
Perform regular maintenance on the SAP Payroll system to ensure compliance, optimize efficiencies, and keep software up-to-date.
Stay informed about Payroll Legislation changes to maintain compliance.
Proficiently configure EC data models, workflows, MDF Alerts & business rules, Benefits, Time off, and Document templates.
Handle new setups such as Wage Type configuration.
Oversee Employee Central Payroll setup, including system setup, data replication, Payment configuration, and LSMWs for data loads.
Establish validation rules in the Payroll Control Centre.
Possess a solid understanding of system implementation, integration, and IT dependencies.
Familiarity with Role-based Permissions.

Qualifications (Minimum)

A relevant qualification
Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

Certification in ITIL
A relevant tertiary qualification

Knowledge
Min:
Advanced knowledge and understanding of:

SAP ECC / S4 (incl. HR Master Data, Authorisations, Transports between landscapes, Integration with other SAP modules, Workflow, Reporting etc.)
Formal Integration practices
Systems Implementation and Technical Systems Support
Developing Integrations
Experience In SF Compensation and Variable Pay Is Advantage.
Experience in Point-to-Point replication between SF EC & SAP ECP is an advantage.
