Nigeria Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze was left as an unused substitute as AC Milan suffered a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool in their opening UEFA Champions League match.
The match took place at the San Siro, home of AC Milan but Chukwueze’s had no answers to their opponents who came from behind to win the game.
Despite a strong start from Milan, with Christian Pulisic scoring in the third minute to give them an early lead, the Italian giants could not maintain their advantage.

Liverpool responded with a series of goals, starting with Ibrahima Konate’s equalizer, followed by Virgil van Dijk and Dominik Szoboszlai adding to the tally.
Chukwueze watched from the sidelines as his team struggled to regain momentum, and Milan ultimately fell to the Premier League side in a tough opening match of the group stage.
