The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is finally here after all the rumors, reports and renders. Samsung has launched the Galaxy S23 Series today, 1st of February 2023. The S23 Ultra comes with a custom Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. This new CPU comes with 34% performance improvements over its predecessor. In terms of GPU, you are also getting up to 41% more GPU performance with improved Ray Tracing for better gaming experience.

Samsung also spoke about the maintenance mode feature at the launch event. With this feature, you don’t have to worry about your privacy when you take your phone to the service shop. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra features a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. It comes with a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels with 501 ppi and 1750 nits in peak brightness. The Samsung S23 Ultra is also the first smartphone to feature the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 screen protection.

The phone is built on an aluminum frame with front and back glass. Samsung said it used about 80% of recycled materials in building the back glass of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This time around, the South Korean company used recycled materials in building both internal and external components.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra also comes with 5,000mAh battery with a charging speed of 45W. Samsung said the device can charge from 0 to 65% within 30 minutes. You also get 10W wireless charging and 4.5W wireless reverse charging.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with One UI 5.1 out of the box. As Samsung’s normal way of doing things, you are getting 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.
