Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Nasarawa United have named Salisu Yusuf as their new technical adviser.
The former Super Eagles assistant coach replaces Kabiru Dogo, who was dismissed on Sunday following the team’s disappointing goalless draw at home against Ikorodu City on Saturday.
The Solid Miners have struggled in recent matches, recording just one draw and three losses in their last four league games.

A statement by the club on Sunday, reads: “OFFICIAL: Salisu Yusuf has been appointed our head coach. He replaces Kabiru Dogo who leaves on mutual consent. Yusuf will have the task of improving our position in the NPFL log.”
Currently, the club sit 18th on the league table with 26 points from 24 matches.
Yusuf, who began his coaching career at Nasarawa United in 2002, has previously managed top Nigerian clubs, including Kano Pillars, Rangers, and Enyimba.
