Job Description

  • A Sales Representative’s job involves selling products or services to customers, building relationships, meeting sales targets, and understanding customer needs to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identifying and generating new sales leads through various methods, including cold calling and networking.
  • Analyzing target markets and developing sales strategies.

Sales Performance and Reporting:

  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Tracking sales performance and preparing reports.
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities.

Product Knowledge:

  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the company’s products or services.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Other Duties:

  • Participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing and customer service.
  • Processing orders and ensuring timely delivery.

Sales and Customer Interaction:

  • Understanding customer needs and preferences to tailor sales pitches.
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and returns.
  • Negotiating sales prices and closing deals.
  • Presenting and promoting products or services to both new and existing customers.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree / HND / NCE with 3 – 4 years work experience.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Sales Skills: Persuasion, negotiation, and closing techniques.
  • Product Knowledge: Understanding of the products or services being sold.
  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and identify trends.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve customer issues.
