Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide information on food and drink offerings.
- Serve eat-in orders using approved crockery and utensils or package take-out orders appropriately.
- Deliver best-in-class customer service and resolve customer inquiries or complaints promptly.
Sales Operations:
- Process customer payments via the cash register or POS system and issue receipts.
- Inform customers about promotions and upsell café products effectively.
- Prepare daily sales reports and participate in cash register closeout processes.
Food Health & Safety:
- Maintain a clean and tidy service area and kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Remove waste promptly and ensure compliance with food hygiene standards.
Stock Management:
- Portion food items as per laid-down procedures.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records.
Store Operations:
- Execute daily store opening and closing procedures in line with company guidelines.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience:
- SS3 Pass Certificate or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service, hospitality, marketing, sales, or customer service.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of sales standards and customer service routines.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Attention to detail, numeracy, and literacy skills.
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software used in retail operations.
