The world warriors are here to run laps around the competition for a limited time
If there’s a big competition going around, you can almost be sure that Ryu and the world warriors are going to show up and prove they’re the best, even if it has nothing to really do with a fighting game.
The previously data-mined Street Fighter X Fall Guys collaboration officially launched today, which adds Ryu, Cammy and Akuma to the battle royale as playable skins plus other items based around Capcom’s top martial artists.
Each premium skin for the Street Fighter crew is currently priced at 800 Show-Bucks while the Hadouken emote (which also includes Shoryuken and Tatsumaki animations) costs 400 Show-Bucks.
Players can save a bit of money by purchasing the new content in bundles as well with Ryu’s package priced at 1,000 Show-Bucks (or about $8 USD) and Cammy plus Akuma will set you back 1,200 Show-Bucks (or about $10).
Those interested will have to act fast, however, as the world warriors content will only be available in its first run until November 30, 2022.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen fighting games and Fall Guys cross paths either, as Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui previously joined the free-to-play multiplayer game.
If Super Smash Bros. is anything to go on, perhaps that means we’ll eventually be seeing blobby Tekken characters in the future to complete the trifecta.
