Ruud van Nistelrooy has recently been appointed as Leicester City’s new manager.
The appointment comes as the Dutchman is a free agent, having been dismissed from Manchester United three weeks ago.
Ruud van Nistelrooy arrived at Old Trafford for his second stint with the club back in the summer. He formed part of Erik ten Hag’s remodelled coaching team after the manager avoided the sack the first time.
The club decided to stan by ten Hag, bringing in Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Andreas Georgson alongside van Nistelrooy.
Whilst Georgson has kept his role at United under Ruben Amorim, the remaining new hirings were all dismissed to make way for Amorim’s backroom staff that joined him from Sporting Lisbon.
Now, with van Nistelrooy taking on his first managerial role after his interim unbeaten run at Old Trafford, he’s called in reinforcements to support him.

Taking on the caretaker manager role until Amorim could start, Rene Hake became van Nistelrooy’s second in command, with the pair turning United around.
The duo led United to three wins and a draw, leaving the club unbeaten, including two big wins over Leicester.
Now, The Times have reported that van Nistelrooy is set to bring Hake to the King Power Stadium with him.
At the moment there’s no indication that ten Rouwelaar or Pieter Morel will be joining the pair in Leicester, however time will tell.
Fabrizio Romano has recently confirmed that all is set for van Nistelrooy to become the manager of The Foxes, with the paperwork just being checked before the big announcement is made.
