Ruben Amorim’s plans for the international break revealed

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has outlined his approach for the international break as a number of first-team players prepare to leave Carrington.

With a solid run of form recently, Amorim is focused on avoiding any further injuries, particularly ahead of the team’s upcoming match against Nottingham Forest on April 1st.

“In terms of time off, it’s difficult for the coaches,” Amorim said in his post-match press conference.

“We are going to divide the group.

“Some players like Mason Mount and Toby Collyer need to focus on their fitness.”

Injuries have plagued United recently, with key defenders like Leny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, and Harry Maguire sidelined.

However, Amorim is hopeful that these players will return to full fitness soon.

“Mason Mount made the bench against Leicester, and I’m hopeful for his contribution moving forward,” said Amorim.

“Amad could also return earlier than expected, and we’re keeping a close eye on players like Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo.”

Amorim continued, “The players must make a final push for the last two months of the season.

“Some will rest more than others, and we’ll give tailored recovery plans to ensure we’re ready for the final stretch.”

As the international break unfolds, the manager’s strategy is clear: keep key players fit and prepare for the crucial fixtures ahead.
