Five returning stars for Ruben Amorim
However, Amorim won’t have to solely rely on his youth players just yet, with five of his injured stars joining in the session trying to recover in time for Sunday.
The session saw Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo all return to team training, giving the new manager a massive boost.
Yoro is hopeful of getting on the pitch this weekend to earn his competitive debut for The Red Devils since joining the summer and almost instantly suffering a broken metatarsal.
However, with Lindelof and Martinez now out of action and Harry Maguire still out, Yoro could be one of the only options alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Jonny Evans to fill Amorim’s back three.
