Ruben Amorim has just completed a massive mix-up of his coaching staff, appointing more specialised coaches.
The Portuguese manager recently arrived from Sporting Lisbon to turn United’s fortunes around, bringing most of his coaching staff with him.
Amorim brought Carlos Fernandes, Jorge Vital, Adelio Candido, Emanuel Ferro and Paulo Barreira from Sporting to join his United staff, with the group already having achieved success together in Portugal.
However, this meant the likes of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Pieter Morel were all let go despite only joining in the summer.
Darren Fletcher, Andreas Georgson and Craig Mawson were some of the only coaches to survive the cut made by United, with the belief they could fit into Amorim’s vision.
Now, in his third week as head coach, Ruben Amorim is shifting about his coaching staff even further.

Ruben Amorim makes changes to coaching staff
The 39-year-old is now segregating training, having specialised coaching of the defenders, midfielders and attackers, completely moving away from Erik ten Hag’s style before him.
This is viewed as a more modern way of coaching in place of the first-team coach overseeing a unified session.
So far, United have enjoyed a 3-2 win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League and a 1-1 draw in the Premier League under Amorim.
The club now sits in 12th place in both leagues, with Amorim’s new approaching hoping to kick-start their season and help them climb further.
