Ruben Amorim has revealed the key difference between Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
Both players were dropped for the Manchester derby due to their perceived poor attitudes.
But while Rashford has remained exiled, Garnacho has responded by thriving in the team.
The winger came off the bench to assist in United’s 2-0 win over FCSB on Thursday night.
That victory secured the Red Devils a place in the last 16 of the Europa League.
Amorim’s praise for Garnacho suggests he is keen to keep him despite transfer interest.

“I don’t think he is improving because of me,” Amorim said after the match.
“He changed right away since that game against City,” the United boss explained.
“The way he understands things, the way he recovers, everything has improved.”
“He knows I just want to help him, and I just want to win games.”
“He understands I’m a different coach, that I’m demanding in my way.”
“Sometimes it’s hard, but he now knows it’s never in a bad way—it’s for him.”
“All the merit goes to Garnacho. He’s improving and we want to improve with him.”
“In the game, he understood his position and when to play inside or outside.”
“His connection with Diogo Dalot is improving a lot, too,” Amorim added.
Another young United player who shone in Bucharest was midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.
The teenager scored a brilliant goal and put in a man-of-the-match display.
Mainoo has endured a dip in form but Amorim dismissed concerns over his contract.
“I don’t think it’s about his contract,” Amorim said.

“Everybody in England sees him as a very good player,” the United boss added.
“I think it’s more about his position. Before, he always played, but now he doesn’t.”
“That made him uncomfortable, but today, in that position, he was happy again.”
United are open to selling academy graduates like Garnacho and Mainoo if offers arrive.
Amorim admitted that possibility but made it clear he wants to keep both players.
“That part is true, but I want players like Kobbie and Garnacho,” Amorim confirmed.
“The focus is to improve our academy and bring more young players through,” he added.
“All clubs in England must take advantage of academy players, whether to play or sell.”
United fans will hope Ruben Amorim gets his wish and keeps both rising stars at Old Trafford.
