Rt. Hon. Apostle Essien Ayi, member representing Calabar South/Akpabuyo/Bakassi Federal Constituency as his tradition demands pays visit to Pope John Paul II aged home, pledges support, offers alms as a way to kick-start campaign for 2019 general elections.
While expressing gratitude, the house keeper thanked the Honourable member while requesting that he should become a mouth-piece of the aged where bills will be sponsored to cater for the aged to properly take care of their immediate needs.
Responding, Hon. Essien Ayi noted that he holds dearly the aged as everyone would certainly grow old while noting seriously that he would do everything possible to cater for their needs from time to time.
